Newcastle United are reportedly considering a move for VfB Stuttgart attacking midfielder Bilal El Khannouss after talks for Lille’s Matias Fernandez-Pardo stalled. Newcastle value the 22-year-old’s Premier League experience and reportedly believe he suits new head coach Matthias Jaissle’s requirements. El Khannouss, who joined Stuttgart permanently from Leicester City after an initial loan, has a contract until 2030 but is said to be open to returning to England. His reduced playing time under Sebastian Hoeneß has fueled transfer speculation, while Galatasaray have also shown interest. He made 41 appearances in his first Stuttgart season, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists.
