Yorkshire Day to be marked with first Yorkshire Proms
The first Yorkshire Proms will be held on August 1 at St George's Hall in Bradford, featuring the Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra, Bradford Festival Choral Society, and community choirs in a celebration of regional heritage. Conductor Ben Crick and Yorkshire Society chief executive Philip Bell emphasize the event’s aim to highlight Yorkshire’s musical talent, foster community participation, and establish a new annual cultural tradition. Tickets go on sale June 10.
