Debenham locals reveal traffic concerns in new survey
A survey of more than 300 Debenham households found widespread concern about the effects of further development, with 83% worried about vehicle access and safety and 84% concerned about flooding, wildlife, air quality and drainage. Residents also cited pressure on the health centre and harm to the village landscape. Most respondents want Debenham to remain a village, oppose high-density estates and support small-scale affordable housing, green-space protection and biodiversity. Debenham Parish Council will use the findings to revise its Neighbourhood Plan through 2045.

Safety warning as Hitcham drivers clocked going over 40mph

Felixstowe Carnival success despite World War II aircraft no-shows

Stowmarket United Reformed Church to close after 300 years
