Reality television personality Stephen Bear was sentenced to 24 weeks in prison after pleading guilty to five breaches of sex-offender registration requirements. He travelled to Brazil without notifying police, posted videos taunting authorities from a beach, and failed to report his return to the UK, a new passport, and two bank cards. The sentence follows a separate 16-month prison term imposed for breaching a restraining order by posting about his former partner Georgia Harrison.

John Orton, a 78-year-old retired telecommunications engineer, died at Felbrigg Hall in Norfolk after being trampled by cattle on July 13.
