Counsel for the Chief Justice, however, called for punitive sanctions, arguing that such measures were necessary to deter similar conduct and safeguard judicial integrity. Following the proceedings, Prophet Key addressed reporters, offering a public apology to the Chief Justice and the court, acknowledging his error and pledging not to repeat it. The decision will determine the penalty, if any, to be imposed.
