Leeds nurse struck off after selling dodgy IV drips
Nadia Mohammed, a nurse, midwife and independent nurse prescriber, was struck off by the Nursing and Midwifery Council after a disciplinary panel found that she and her husband’s company, Ivitalise, relabelled and resold IV drip products. Products bought from Intravita for £40 were allegedly given false lot numbers, expiry dates and ingredient labels before being sold to White Night London Ltd for £87.15. The panel found that the mislabelling involved potentially high-risk ingredients and a prescription-only medicine, brought the nursing and midwifery professions into disrepute, and breached standards of honesty, accountability and patient safety.
