Johnny Hates Jazz singer-songwriter Clark Datchler and soul singer Jaki Graham have released “Soul Believer,” a feel-good single built from titles of classic soul records from the 1960s through the 1980s. Co-written with Average White Band founder Hamish Stuart, the track accompanies a new 12-part podcast, “Soul Believers,” featuring discussions of soul music and acoustic performances. Graham will also join Johnny Hates Jazz for a planned UK tour tied to the band’s forthcoming 40th-anniversary album of “Shattered Dreams,” which will include new material alongside their classic songs.
