Five Metropolitan Police officers were injured after a police boat struck Westminster Bridge on the River Thames in central London, with several officers entering the water before being recovered. Police, ambulance, fire and coastguard teams responded, while bridge traffic and nearby Westminster Underground access were disrupted. No members of the public were believed to have been injured, and the circumstances of the collision will be reviewed.
