Witnesses' heartbreak after man dies in Frinton tragedy
A man died after getting into difficulty in the sea off Frinton-on-Sea, Essex. Emergency services, including police, ambulances and an air ambulance, attended the scene, but he was pronounced dead after being brought ashore; his family has been informed and is receiving support. Witnesses described the shock of seeing the response unfold. The incident was reported as the third fatal sea emergency on the Sunshine Coast during the summer, following deaths at Walton, Clacton and West Mersea.
