My name is Hadi Irandoost. I am a Kurdish artist, writer, filmmaker, and media professional with more than thirty years of experience in visual arts, storytelling, film, and animation, focusing on exploring and expressing human stories through different artistic forms. I hold a Master’s degree in Animation from Tarbiat Modares University in Tehran (2007) and a Bachelor’s degree in Painting from the University of Art in Tehran (2000). From 2018 to January 2026, I worked in the Västra Götaland region in Sweden in film, animation, and media. Earlier, I worked for more than two decades as an art teacher in Iran’s Ministry of Education (1991–2012), teaching film and visual arts, and I also taught at the Technical University for Women in Sanandaj (2008–2010) and Rajai University in Kermanshah (2010–2012). I have participated in numerous cultural and artistic events, including visual art exhibitions, poetry and short story festivals, the Fourth International Tehran Cartoon Biennial, and the Sixth National Festival of Contemporary Sculpture in Iran. I am the author of the book Elements of Attraction in Animation Cinema published in Tehran and the novel Painters and the Madmen published in Sweden. I have also written many poems, short stories, and screenplays, many of which remain unpublished. In Sweden, I wrote and directed five theatrical productions for Smyrna Church in Gothenburg and collaborated with the Kamkars music group in lyrical writing. I have also founded Hurma Media, a platform producing animation and music for Kurdish children. My professional skills include filmmaking, cinematography, video editing, and graphic design. I work with Adobe software such as Premiere, Animate, and Photoshop, and I also use artificial intelligence in music, image creation, and animation.
