Eleven people were jailed in Essex during August for offences including restraining-order breaches, domestic violence, organized burglary, dangerous driving, burglary, firearm possession, drug offences and online child sexual communications. Stephen Bear received 16 months for repeatedly posting degrading material about Georgia Harrison in breach of a restraining order. Other sentences ranged from one year for disqualified driver James Connors to nine years and two months for Rahim Ghasemi, who was convicted of raping an elderly woman and faces potential deportation. The cases also involved two teenagers linked to cross-county vehicle thefts, a loaded converted revolver, repeated motorcycle joyriding, and online sexual communications with vigilante decoys posing as children.
