David Sullivan advised to stay away from West Ham home matches
London Stadium has recommended that West Ham co-owner and largest shareholder David Sullivan stay away from home matches because of concerns about possible demonstrations and anti-social behaviour following allegations of sexual misconduct. The recommendation follows a BBC Panorama and Times investigation in which seven women accused Sullivan of sexually exploitative and predatory behaviour, allegations he categorically denies. Sullivan was also barred from contact with West Ham’s women’s and youth teams for three years over safeguarding concerns, although the club says there is no ongoing safeguarding risk and expects to facilitate his attendance. The report also says BBC Radio 5 Live presenter Tony Livesey left the station after allegations relating to his former work for Sullivan’s publications; Livesey denies any involvement in the alleged conduct.
