JBL Live Beam 4 review: excellent touchscreen-equipped earbuds
The JBL Live Beam 4 are recommended as highly capable wireless earbuds offering excellent, detailed sound, an exceptionally comfortable fit, strong battery life, IP55 protection, and a feature-rich touchscreen charging case. Their £179.99/AU$269.95 price is considered competitive, particularly against premium rivals. However, active noise cancellation is only decent, call quality is underwhelming, and the spatial-audio mode produces compressed, artificial sound. Despite these drawbacks, the combination of audio performance, usability, and value makes them a compelling choice for buyers seeking distinctive, feature-packed earbuds.

Ultimea Poseidon D60 review: Atmos and surround sound on a budget, but not without compromise
The Ultimea Poseidon D60 is a compact and affordable 5.1-channel soundbar system with a subwoofer and rear speakers. Testing found clear dialogue, surprisingly effective surround effects, broad connectivity and useful EQ customization, but weak bass, limited Dolby Atmos height effects because it lacks upfiring speakers, plasticky construction and untidy wired rear-speaker connections. It is recommended for budget buyers seeking more immersive sound than a television can provide, but listeners wanting cinematic bass or a fuller Atmos experience should consider more expensive alternatives such as the Hisense AX5125H or Samsung HW-Q800F.

Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Preview: So Far, So Good for the Switch 2's Epic Turn-Based RPG
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave is presented as a promising Nintendo Switch 2 tactical RPG set in Dagda, where players revisit the Heroic Games timeline and guide four Flame Lords—Cai, Dietrich, Theodora, and Leda—in campaigns that can be played interchangeably. The preview praises the layered cast, voice acting, support conversations, varied activities in Dagsion, grid-based combat, and new Blaze Arts that trade health for powerful abilities. Switch 2 hardware delivers sharper visuals, smooth performance, brief loading times, and effective mouse controls, although some environmental textures and NPC dialogue are repetitive. With the full game due in September, its early story, combat, and world-building suggest a strong return for longtime Fire Emblem fans.

Sky Glass Gen 2 One Year On: Is It Still Worth It?
After more than a year of use, the Sky Glass Gen 2 remains a strong all-in-one TV hub for Sky customers, offering an intuitive interface, excellent voice control, reliable network-delivered channels, bundled streaming subscriptions and straightforward setup. Its QLED picture delivers good contrast, color, brightness and motion handling, while the built-in Dolby Atmos system provides fuller sound than most TV speakers. However, its 60Hz refresh rate limits advanced gaming, its audio cannot match a premium standalone soundbar, and the overall cost can rise substantially with Sky subscriptions. Buyers seeking maximum picture quality may find better-value OLED or mini-LED alternatives, but existing or committed Sky users are likely to find the Glass Gen 2 worth its price.

Dynaudio's wild soundbar with moving 'kinetic fins' is one of the most impressive I've ever seen — I spoke to the company's CCO about building a luxe soundbar for giant TVs and its impressive 24-driver design
Dynaudio's Opus One is a €13,000 premium soundbar designed for large televisions and rooms. It features 24 drivers, 1,500W of amplification, support for major audio formats, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI ARC, AUX and Ethernet connectivity, and spatial audio processing. Its distinctive 72 mechanized wooden fins per unit, handmade from Japanese white oak or Appalachian walnut, conceal and protect the drivers but provide no sonic benefit. A listening demonstration delivered powerful bass, precise spatial effects, clear stereo separation and detailed music reproduction. The soundbar launched first in Denmark and China, with wider-market availability planned for 2027; stands and mounting accessories may bring a complete setup to roughly €20,000.

Logitech Mobi Fold Review: The Weirdest Mouse I’ve Ever Used
The Logitech Mobi Fold is an exceptionally compact, foldable Bluetooth mouse designed for travel, with a pleasant silicone texture, customizable controls, easy device switching, and strong battery life. However, its unusual V-shaped design is uncomfortable during extended use, while the touch-based scrolling and stiff buttons feel less precise and fluid than those of conventional mice. At $79.99 / £69.99 / AU$129.95, the reviewer considers it poor value and recommends considering alternatives such as the cheaper Logitech Pop Mouse or the more capable Keychron M6 8K.
