Team GB athlete Louise Prashad in 200-mile run for organ donation
Team GB athlete Louise Prashad, who survived acute fatty liver of pregnancy after receiving a lifesaving liver transplant, is preparing to run 200 miles from Birmingham to Bideford over seven days. The challenge, marking ten years since her transplant and dedicated to her stillborn twins and her donor Sarah, will raise funds for Leeds Hospitals Charity and NHS organ-donation efforts while encouraging families to discuss donation. Prashad hopes the run will demonstrate the possibilities of life after transplantation and support transplant athletes.
