Southport killer Axel Rudakubana 'trying to manipulate system once again'
Axel Rudakubana, who received a life sentence with a minimum 52-year term for murdering Alice da Silva Aguiar, Bebe King and Elsie Dot Stancombe and attempting to murder eight other children and two adults, has been transferred from prison to Broadmoor psychiatric hospital. The Ministry of Justice said the transfer was approved on ministers’ behalf and does not change his sentence. A lawyer representing the victims’ families said they viewed the move, announced shortly before the second anniversary of the attack, as another attempt by Rudakubana to manipulate the system, and said the families were seeking clarification from the authorities.
