Jaguar Land Rover set to cut around 300 jobs in major business overhaul
Jaguar Land Rover plans to cut around 300 UK jobs as part of a business transformation and cost-reduction programme. The company, which employs about 30,000 people in the UK, said affected staff would be supported with redeployment opportunities or voluntary early exit options. The overhaul follows a major cyberattack that halted UK production for five weeks in 2025, contributing to weaker sales and significant financial losses, alongside pressure from US tariffs. JLR aims to reduce costs by around £1.7 billion over the coming years.
