Changes to how HM Land Registry sends emails about applications
HM Land Registry will stop sending application-related documents as email attachments and instead provide access through secure links starting in late August 2026. The links will remain active for 200 days and messages will come from a new notifications address. The change, prompted by updates to Microsoft email software, aims to maintain secure and reliable delivery and will use the GOV.UK Notify platform.

UK House Price Index for May 2026
Average UK house prices rose 0.3% between April and May 2026 and increased 2.7% annually to £271,000.
