A Dorset environmental charity that removes around seven tonnes of marine litter annually is fundraising for a permanent van to replace reliance on volunteers’ cars and rental vehicles. Founders Dave Taylor and Jane Fuhrmann say a dedicated van would reduce costs, improve efficiency at community litter picks, and increase recycling capacity. They plan daily sponsored beach cleans throughout the summer holidays to raise money and have recently transitioned from a community interest company to a registered charity for greater transparency.
