Ian Clarke: Will frustration dominate Norwich City's season?
Five arrested as rave broken up by police in Little Snoring
Police broke up an unlicensed rave near Thursford Road in Little Snoring after receiving reports shortly after 1am on Sunday. Officers prevented further attendance, directed revellers to leave under Section 63 of the Criminal Justice & Public Order Act 1994, and seized vehicles, generators and sound equipment. Five people were arrested for offences including drug driving, drink driving, possession of class A drugs with intent to supply, and conducting a licensable activity without a licence. Police are investigating the event’s organisers, while Superintendent Craig Miller said unauthorised music events can disrupt communities, damage the environment and put attendees at risk. Local resident Patrick Galbraith said the ravers were generally friendly but described seeing drug use at the site.
