Cobham Sports beat newly promoted Mere Town 4-0 at Merley Park in the opening Dorset Premier League matchday. The hosts dominated the first half, scoring through Sam Lench, Henry Bowe, Asa Phillips and Harsh Budhdeo, while Mere improved after the interval. Cobham continued to create chances, with Callum Perry hitting the crossbar twice, and Louis Kellaway was named man of the match.

Cobham Sports Women opened their pre-season campaign with a 9-0 win over Eastleigh FC Women at Merley Park. Susannah Gennery scored a hat-trick, while Carris Tarrier and Sianell White each added two goals; Shelley Stickland, Karla Fripp and another Cobham contribution completed the scoring. Cobham dominated much of the match, led 4-0 at half-time and defended effectively despite occasional Eastleigh counter-attacks.

Cobham Sports dominated a pre-season match at Merley Park, defeating a youthful Bemerton Heath XI 5-0 with all goals scored by U18 players. Nathan Davis opened the scoring before Jude Stevenson completed a second-half hat-trick, supported by strong contributions from several young teammates. The performance highlighted Cobham’s effective integration of youth players and overall control of the match.

Cobham Sports and Dorchester Town drew 1-1 in a pre-season friendly at Merley Park. After Cobham controlled much of the first half, strong goalkeeping from Jack Robertson kept the match level. Freddie Beale put Dorchester ahead with a long-range strike in the 78th minute, but Joe Wood equalised from the penalty spot shortly after. Late saves from Jacob Deakin preserved the draw, with several new and younger Cobham players earning praise for their performances.
