Irene Cecilia Hartmann is a journalist based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She's been writing for the largest news media in the country, Clarin newspaper, for 15 years, and has large experience in documentary research and TV production. She studied journalism at a third-grade private institute (TEA) and completed a Bachelor's degree in Literature at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). Although she has covered political and consumer issues, her main areas of interest are regarding the social field; for example health, science, poverty and education policies. In those fields, she has pursued specialized training and has received various awards and recognitions for her work. Regarding documentaries, she has worked in research and journalistic production for films released locally, including one that will be available on Netflix in 2026.
