A Grade II-listed William Mitchell mural from Coventry’s former Three Tuns pub has been removed in four sections during demolition for the City Centre South redevelopment. The 30-tonne sculpture, commissioned during the city’s post-war regeneration, will be cleaned and stored before plans to reintegrate it into the redeveloped city centre are advanced. Ahmad Hania of Nuneaton has appeared at Coventry Magistrates' Court after being charged with sexual offences involving two girls at a Kenilworth hotel. He was arrested at his home after police located the girls at the hotel and has been remanded in custody.
