Representatives from both organisations emphasised Sheffield’s strong entrepreneurial environment and the potential for collaboration, knowledge sharing and long-term regional impact.

A family-run Sri Lankan food business, Curry Leafs, is expanding after receiving a UKSE Kickstart Grant delivered through the Rotherham Investment & Development Office. Founded by Hasitha Priyadarshani, the company has grown from a home-based operation into a regional provider of traditional Sri Lankan dishes and catering services. The funding enables investment in equipment to support growth and participation in larger events.
