Leyola-Rose Powell, 22, of Pembroke pleaded guilty at Llanelli Magistrates' Court to allowing Tyler Calveley to drive her Vauxhall Astra without third-party insurance on Kensington Road in Neyland on January 25. She was fined £120, ordered to pay £130 in costs and a £48 victim surcharge, and banned from driving for six months, with six penalty points recorded notionally.

Carl James, 37, of Prioryville, Milford Haven, admitted stalking his former partner by making more than 50 telephone calls and visiting her home over four days. Haverfordwest Magistrates' Court imposed a 12-month community order, including alcohol abstinence, electronic monitoring and rehabilitation activity, along with a 12-month restraining order. James was also ordered to pay £199 in prosecution costs and a victim surcharge in monthly instalments.

Brian Underwood, 36, of Milford Haven, pleaded guilty at Haverfordwest Magistrates' Court to possessing an indecent photograph or pseudo-photograph of a child. He received a two-year community order, must complete a rehabilitation programme, register as a sex offender, and comply with a five-year sexual harm prevention order. He was also fined and ordered to pay a total of £379, while his iPhone 11 was forfeited.

Lisa Catherine Leese, 57, of Walton West near Little Haven, pleaded guilty before Llanelli magistrates to driving at 81 mph in a 70 mph zone on the A40 near Nantyci Showground, Carmarthen. She was fined £146, ordered to pay a £174 victim services surcharge and £120 in prosecution costs, and received three penalty points, bringing the total financial penalty to £440.

Alan Warlow pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and failing to stop after a collision involving a Volvo XC40 in Milford Haven. He denied drink-driving but was convicted in his absence after providing a breath sample of 41 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres, above the legal limit of 35. He is due to be sentenced on August 20.

James Adams, 35, of Milford Haven, appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates' Court accused of possessing cocaine with intent to supply in Whitland and being concerned in the supply of cocaine in Milford Haven. No plea was entered, and he was remanded in custody pending a plea and trial preparation hearing at Swansea Crown Court on September 4.

Christopher Hanratty, 51, of Pembroke Dock, pleaded not guilty to intentionally strangling a woman in Pembroke on April 25. He was remanded in custody, with a mention hearing scheduled at Haverfordwest Magistrates' Court on August 4, which he is due to attend by video link. He is represented by Alex Scott.

Jack Morgan, 30, of Pembroke, pleaded guilty at Llanelli Magistrates' Court to stealing sausages and alcoholic drinks, including Absolut and JJ Artisanal vodka, from a Co-op store and to a second theft from The Green Garage Service Station. He was ordered to pay £42 compensation to the Co-op and £7.63 to the garage. Morgan also admitted failing to surrender to custody while on bail; no separate penalty was imposed for that offence.

Alice Evans, 36, of Hook, pleaded guilty at Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court to driving with excess alcohol after being stopped on Newtown Road on April 18. Her blood alcohol level was 120 milligrams per 100 millilitres, above the legal limit of 80. Magistrates imposed a 12-month driving disqualification, reducible by 12 weeks if she completes an approved rehabilitation course, and ordered her to pay £537 in fines, costs and surcharge.

A Pembrokeshire man received a 12‑month driving ban and a £120 fine after admitting to driving with cannabis in his system above the legal limit on the A477. Magistrates also ordered him to pay prosecution costs, noting his guilty plea when issuing the sentence.

Ian Evans of Hakin received a 40‑week custodial sentence after being convicted at Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court of drink‑driving, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance. Magistrates cited his suspended sentence, driving history and aggravating factors including distance travelled and poor driving standards. He was banned from driving for over five years and ordered to pay prosecution costs. A separate cocaine‑related assessment offence resulted in no additional penalty following a guilty plea.

A 27-year-old Pembroke Dock man received a community order lasting until July 2027 after admitting to assaulting a woman, using violence to enter her home, and stealing wine from a local Morrisons Daily. He was fined, ordered to pay prosecution costs, and given a restraining order prohibiting contact with the victim. Compensation was deemed unnecessary for the assault but was required for the shop theft. All sentences were combined under the same community order.

A man from Portfield Gate was banned from driving for 24 months after admitting to driving with three times the legal alcohol limit. He was fined, ordered to pay additional costs and a surcharge, and may reduce his ban by completing a rehabilitation course. Court proceedings noted his guilty plea, with representation by a defence solicitor and prosecution by the Crown.

A Mynachlog-ddu man, Edward Roxborough, received an 18‑week suspended sentence after admitting to assaulting a child in Narberth. Swansea Magistrates’ Court deemed the attack serious but suspended the sentence under recent legislative changes. Roxborough must complete unpaid work, rehabilitation days, and pay prosecution costs and a victim surcharge. No compensation order was issued, though it may be pursued separately, and reporting restrictions prevent identifying the child.
