Fulham Prodigy Makes Move to Meadow Park on Loan
Boreham Wood have signed 19-year-old Bangladesh forward Farhaan Ali Walid from Fulham on a season-long loan ahead of their National League opener against Tamworth. The versatile attacker, who came through Chelsea and Fulham’s youth systems, recorded nine goals and five assists in Premier League 2 and was later promoted to Fulham’s under-21 team. His performances earned him a pre-season call-up from manager Alvaro Arbeloa, along with a first-team debut in a behind-closed-doors match. Former Worthing star Danny Cashman signs on loan
Boreham Wood have signed Crawley Town playmaker Danny Cashman on a season-long loan, making him the fourth addition to Luke Garrard’s squad. The 25-year-old previously impressed at Worthing, scoring 28 goals in 79 appearances, but made only five League Two appearances for Crawley last season after struggling with injuries. Following a brief loan spell at Sutton United, Cashman will aim to regain his fitness and form while helping Boreham Wood challenge for promotion.
