Amy Hunt's first Grantham sprint coach 'chuffed' for her success
Amy Hunt's former Grantham Athletic Club sprint coach Ian Richards and club chair Phil Garner have praised the 24-year-old athlete after her success at the European Athletics Championships. Hundreds of motorcyclists and visitors attended Hornsea’s annual bike show at Hall Garth Park, which featured motorcycles and trikes, live music, stalls and fairground rides. Hull remembers war heroes at 'beautifully' restored cenotaph
A remembrance service was held at Hull's cenotaph on the 81st anniversary of VJ Day, commemorating Japan's surrender on 15 August 1945. Thousands attended Humber Rescue’s open day at Hessle Foreshore in East Yorkshire, where visitors enjoyed family activities, rescue demonstrations and meetings with volunteer crew members.
