Work begins to repair St Paul's Church spire in Ramsbottom
Repairs to the spire at St Paul's Church in Ramsbottom have begun and are expected to take about five weeks, with completion anticipated by mid-September. Church services, the Saturday café and the Ramsbottom and Edenfield Jigsaw Festival are expected to continue as normal, although parking, pavements and access through the main entrance may be temporarily restricted. Funding is in place, and Rev Ian Fleming asked residents for patience and support as the essential work proceeds.
