Filton man to pay £2,000 after defecating at bus stop
Sean Daley, 54, of Filton, pleaded guilty to criminal damage and littering after human waste, tissues and cigarette butts were found at a bus stop on Badminton Road, Mayshill, on ten occasions. He received a 12-month community order, 10 rehabilitation activity days and an £80 fine, and was ordered to pay £990 in compensation and £1,000 in costs, bringing the total financial penalty to £2,070. CCTV and council monitoring identified him, and no further incidents have been reported since officers intervened.

Gloucester: 200 tonnes of waste dumped on private land
