Ryanair Liverpool flight diverts to Nantes as passengers thought they were going to die
Severe turbulence forced Ryanair flight FR9887 from Alicante to divert to Nantes, injuring several passengers and crew after the aircraft suddenly dropped. Travellers described people being thrown into the ceiling and widespread panic on board. Medical teams treated multiple injuries, including a crew member taken to hospital. Ryanair stated the aircraft landed normally and that a replacement flight later transported passengers to Liverpool.
