Passengers thought they were going to die after Ryanair flight hit by severe turbulence
Severe turbulence on Ryanair flight FR9887 from Alicante to Liverpool caused passengers and crew to be thrown against the cabin ceiling, injuring several people and forcing a diversion to Nantes. Paramedics treated multiple passengers and one crew member was taken to hospital with a knee injury. A replacement aircraft later completed the journey to Liverpool.
