Twenty-one-year-old Jelly Boxall is filming weekly video diaries covering all 365 square miles of Dartmoor. Her short social-media videos explore the moor’s landscapes, wildlife, myths and history, including Haytor’s granite quarries and tramway, whose granite was used in landmarks such as London Bridge, the British Museum and the National Gallery. Dartmoor guide Simon Dell links Boxall’s project to John Hayward’s 2000 book Dartmoor 365, emphasizing that every part of the moor contains traces of human history.
