Sky News halted for heartbreaking death announcement as presenter tells of 'horror'
Sky News reported that at least seven people, including teachers, were killed in a shooting at Debsirin Nonthaburi School northwest of Bangkok. The suspected attacker was identified as a 14-year-old student who allegedly killed his grandparents earlier that day, fired 26 rounds at the school and then died by suicide. Canadian broadcaster Lloyd Robertson has died at age 92 after a career spanning more than four decades. He served as chief anchor of CTV National News from 1984 to 2011 and previously anchored CBC's The National. Robertson covered major Canadian and international events, including federal elections, Olympic Games, Quebec referendums, the 9/11 attacks and Princess Diana's death. Former colleagues Lisa LaFlamme and Peter Mansbridge, along with Prime Minister Mark Carney, praised his calm authority, integrity and lasting influence on Canadian journalism. Robertson was also recognized with the Order of Canada, induction into Canada's Walk of Fame and lifetime achievement awards.

GB News paused for concerning breaking news update as 'major incident' declared in UK

BBC Breakfast halted for two tragic death announcements within just minutes
