West Yorkshire Police officers from the Major Investigation Review Team searched a site at Fulneck, Pudsey, for potential evidence relating to Patricia Hall’s disappearance in 1992. The Hunslet Club: Leeds youth centre for thousands of children welcomes social media ban
The Hunslet Club in Leeds, which serves more than 4,000 members through affordable sports, arts, youth work and alternative education, welcomes the planned social media ban for under-16s. Staff say online bullying and grooming create significant safeguarding pressures and believe the ban could encourage children to spend more time in teams, activities and face-to-face friendships. The largely self-funded club operates in a deprived area, relies on donations and social enterprises, and delivers substantial social value while meeting growing demand for affordable youth provision.
