Ballboy kicked by Eden Hazard set for £500m deal 13 years on from infamous moment
Charlie Morgan, the former Swansea City ballboy involved in Eden Hazard’s controversial 2013 kick, has become co-owner of the fast-growing drinks brand Au Vodka. Founded with Jackson Quinn in 2015, the company was previously valued at about £150 million, while both co-founders are reportedly worth around £75 million. Au Vodka is now reportedly close to a £500 million sale to US beverage company Sazerac, potentially giving Morgan and Quinn more than £100 million each, although their future roles in the business remain unclear. The brand’s growth has been driven by social media, celebrity endorsements and marketing partnerships.
