Ryanair passengers 'forced to buy water' on delayed flight as temperatures hit 40C
Passengers on a delayed Ryanair flight from Barcelona to Manchester were left in extreme heat for over two hours with no air conditioning, prompting fainting and complaints after being asked to pay for water. They were eventually taken off the aircraft and re‑boarded hours later, departing just before 1am. Ryanair attributed the disruption to thunderstorms and said passengers received communications and vouchers during the delay.
