Only 12 per cent of Brits follow recommended teeth cleaning routine
A poll of 2,000 UK adults found that only 12% follow the recommended oral-care routine, while 88% fall short. Nearly two-thirds brush for less than two minutes, 16% brush only once daily, 74% do not floss every day, and some do not use or identify fluoride toothpaste. The findings coincide with Oral-B’s Brush for Better campaign, which will tour the UK with a mobile dental bus before donating it to Dentaid. The article also highlights untreated tooth decay, severe gum disease, infrequent dental visits and growing reliance on social media and AI for dental advice.
