Worcester, Glasgow and Belfast are the cities where houses sell the fastest
Glasgow is the fastest-selling UK city for homes, with properties typically receiving agreed offers within 11 days, followed by Worcester and Belfast. The national average is 30 days, while Wakefield is the slowest at 63 days. Alto’s research attributes regional differences to pricing, supply, demand, transport links and property chains. Terraced and semi-detached homes sell fastest, while flats, one-bedroom homes, detached properties and retirement accommodation take longer, with flats and studios experiencing significant increases in selling times over the past year.
