The average Brit now captures 1,040 photos and 312 videos per year
A poll of 2,000 UK adults found that the average person takes 1,040 photos and records 312 videos annually. Gen Z captures the most content, while 42% of adults edit photos or videos before sharing them. Holidays, family occasions, pets and meals are the most common subjects, and social media is raising expectations for production quality. The research, commissioned by Samsung, highlights demand for features such as stable recording, low-light photography, AI tools and larger editing screens alongside promotion of the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra.

UK drivers issued middle lane warning by police officer
