Bonnie Tyler, known for the global hit Total Eclipse of the Heart, has died at 75 after a long career spanning chart‑topping singles, international tours and notable collaborations. Rising from modest beginnings in Wales, she achieved fame through her distinct vocal style and successful partnerships, particularly with songwriter Jim Steinman. Her work produced numerous hits for herself and other artists, and she maintained an active performing and recording career into the 2020s. Appointed MBE in 2023, she divided her later years between Portugal and Wales and is survived by her husband.
