A US missile killed Iranian schoolchildren four months ago. We still don’t know the full story
A US missile strike on a school in Minab, Iran, killed more than 150 people, most of them children, yet a full accounting remains unavailable four months later. Reconstruction of events indicates the school was located within a former Revolutionary Guard compound and that staff had been calling parents for early pickup when bombs hit. The US military knew soon after the blast that its forces had conducted strikes nearby, though internal intelligence gaps appear to have led to the school not being properly identified as such. Iran blamed the US while President Trump denied responsibility. With access restricted and information suppressed, casualty verification has been difficult; Airwars has identified 157 victims, including 123 children. A US military investigation is largely complete, but findings have not yet been fully disclosed.
