Kagiso Mokonopi is a journalist based in Gaborone, Botswana. He has one of the most diverse portfolios built over a period spanning 20 years. He has worked on a variety of media platforms ranging from print reporter for the "Daily News"; News Writer and Radio Producer/Presenter for Radio Botswana's Current Affairs "Programme Around the World Today"; and News Reporter & Programmes Host for Botswana Television's "News Review". When he took a break from journalism, Kagiso joined one of biggest advertising brands the globally, McCann-Erickson as a Copy-Writer/Public Relations Officer, where he generated copy for both print and broadcast commercials. It is after a 5-year stint in the world of Advertising and Public Relations that he traced his feet back to television, where he produced over 300 episodes of a lifestyle television magazine show "Prime Time Life" over a period spanning 6 years. Now, currently running his own film/television Production House, Uber Media, Kagiso recently scripted, directed and produced a 13-episode inspirational documentary series titled "Stories of Hope" (#StoriesofHopeonBTV on facebook) which aired on Botswana Television. He has scripted and produced a 1-hour 26-episode medical talkshow, "Health Chat" (#HealthChatShow on facebook) which was commissioned by Botswana Television and currently airs every Saturday.
