Kambiz Ghafouri

Kambiz Ghafouri is an investigative journalist and political analyst based in Finland, with over a decade of professional experience covering Iran, human rights, and Middle Eastern politics.

He has worked with and contributed to leading international media outlets, including BBC, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (Radio Farda), IranWire, and Iran International, producing investigative reports and political analysis on state repression, human rights violations, and power structures in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Mr. Ghafouri has served as Deputy Editor-in-Chief at IranWire and as Program Coordinator at Iran Human Rights (IHRNGO), where he wass involved in the documentation and analysis of systematic human rights abuses, including torture and lethal state violence.

His work is published in both English and Persian, and he regularly appears as a political commentator on international television.
