BBC Vigil's Suranne Jones reveals biggest 'problem' filming in Glasgow
Suranne Jones discusses filming the third series of BBC crime drama Vigil with Rose Leslie in Svalbard and Glasgow. The new story follows DCI Amy Silva and DI Kirsten Longacre as they investigate the murder of a covert British special forces operative at a remote Arctic research station amid international competition for Arctic resources. Jones said the main difficulty in Glasgow was filming in heavy Arctic clothing despite the warmer conditions, while praising the remote Svalbard locations, crew and expanded time working with Leslie. The series begins on BBC iPlayer and BBC One on 30 August.
