TUI, Jet2 and easyJet alert - holidaymakers may face extra fees
Holidaymakers booking trips with TUI, Jet2holidays or easyJet may have to pay tourism taxes directly at their accommodation. Charges vary by destination, length of stay, season and accommodation type; Ibiza levies between €0.25 and €4 per person per day, while Greece’s peak-season Climate Crisis Resilience Fee ranges from €2 to €15 per room per night. Visitors should check local charges before travelling, regardless of their airline or tour operator.

Important easyJet alert to all passengers taking luggage with them
easyJet has reminded passengers that laptops, e-cigarettes and vaping devices must be carried in cabin baggage rather than checked luggage. Passengers may carry a maximum of two power banks, which must not be used or charged during flights and should remain easily monitored. The airline also warned that the European Entry/Exit System could lead to longer queues, biometric checks and additional passport-control procedures for some UK travelers, advising passengers to prepare documents, use the easyJet app and arrive early.
