Ryanair prohibits individual razor blades, traditional safety razors with removable blades, and cut-throat razors in cabin baggage because they may be used as weapons. Disposable and cartridge razors with enclosed blades, along with electric shavers and epilators, are generally permitted. Prohibited items may be carried in checked luggage, though airport security staff retain authority to confiscate items considered hazardous.
