When is the next heatwave? UK to see temperatures hit 34C
Weather forecasts indicate a heatwave developing across parts of the UK, with temperatures expected to reach 29C on July 5 and peak at 34C in the South East later in the week. The UK Health Security Agency has issued yellow heat alerts for multiple English regions, while parts of Wales are also expected to experience high temperatures. Southern Water and South East Water have introduced hosepipe bans due to water supply concerns. Meteorologists describe the upcoming heat as a prolonged warm spell, less intense and less humid than the June heatwave.
