Lindt’s limited-edition LINDOR Shortbread truffles have returned to Tesco stores and online in the UK ahead of the festive period. The chocolates cost £7.50, or £6 for Clubcard members, and have prompted enthusiastic reactions from shoppers. The report also highlights Lindt’s August in-store complimentary tastings, based on regional preferences in its LINDOR Pick & Mix range.

Opal Fruits, rebranded as Starbursts in 1998, have reportedly reappeared in UK discount stores including B&M, Home Bargains and Poundland for £1 or less. The sweets originally featured strawberry, orange, lime and lemon flavours; Mars Wrigley has periodically brought them back in limited editions, most recently in 2021, 2024 and 2025, responding to continued consumer interest in nostalgia.

McVitie’s has discontinued Milk Chocolate Iced Gems after four decades, replacing them with a cocoa-flavoured version that maintains the same price but offers a slightly larger bag size. Fans reacted negatively to the change, expressing frustration online. Pladis confirmed the update, stating the new flavour aligns with the rest of the Iced Gems range. The company also recently expanded its lineup with new White Hobnobs, now available in Morrisons and soon in other supermarkets.
