All Creatures Great and Small season 7 unveils new 'rival' to 'shake things up'
Season seven of All Creatures Great and Small will return to Channel 5 in September 2026 with six episodes and a Christmas special. The returning cast includes Nicholas Ralph, Anna Madeley, Samuel West, Rachel Shenton and Callum Woodhouse, while Caolan McCarthy joins as rival vet Granville Bennett, bringing new competition to Skeldale House. Set in the Yorkshire Dales in 1946 after the war, the series will explore new developments in veterinary medicine alongside its established warmth, humour and community spirit. The show was renewed with season eight and remains Channel 5's most successful drama, receiving a 99% Rotten Tomatoes approval rating.
