Two men from Worcester, aged 61 and 34, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after an assault outside Foregate Street station left a man critically injured. The victim was repeatedly punched and stamped on before being taken to hospital with serious injuries. Emergency services, including police, paramedics and an air ambulance, responded to the scene. Police stated they are no longer seeking additional individuals in connection with the incident.

Police expressed concern after groups of youths, some as young as 12, were reported causing disorder in Shipston on Stour during the final night of the Shipston Proms. Officers cited incidents involving alcohol, smashed bottles and general nuisance behaviour and said CCTV would be used to identify those involved. The disturbances occurred separately from the event itself.
