Oxfordshire Stand Up To Racism has accused the Bicester Against MOD Asylum Centre campaign of building links with far-right activists and promoting inflammatory videos involving Tommy Robinson and Daniel Thomas. The group says such material could encourage racism and violence, while opposing the government’s plan to house asylum seekers at MOD Bicester. The proposed site is one of three Ministry of Defence locations announced by the Home Office and has generated strong local opposition, while Cherwell District Council has lost control over major planning decisions related to the proposals.
